Construction of a 1.44-million gallons per day (MGD) WTP to provide treatment for the removal of iron, manganese and PFAS from the town’s existing groundwater wells 5 & 8. The project consisted of constructing a new 134’ x 52’ masonry water treatment facility, a new gravel and asphalt driveway to access the treatment facility, and new pump motors in the existing buildings for wells 5 and 8. The proposed project included new pumps, new chemical systems, greensand and granular activated carbon filtration vessels, instrumentation & SCADA, electrical, and HVAC.
