Pine Valley Plantation Water Distribution and Roadway Improvements – Belchertown, MA

The installation, disinfection, and testing of approximately 19,000 linear feet of 4-inch polyvinyl chloride water main and the removal and/or abandonment of existing water mains, including new water service connections and curb stops, installation of gate valves and fittings, new hydrants, pipe restraint, and appurtenances. The proper disposal of removed water main and associated appurtenances. The installation, disinfection, and testing of approximately 200 linear feet of 4-inch HDPE water main via directional drilling. Installation and maintenance of a temporary water main bypass during construction including assembly, breakdown, disinfection, and temporary connections to homes. Final roadway included twelve inches of reclaimed pavement borrow, two inches of binder course, and one and a half inches of top course hot mix asphalt in roadway.
